I would like to let you all know that the last post was my last for Wearfare ever - I'm now combining Wearfare & Mostly Model into one (and possibly changing the name!), and making it about both fashion and models, and eventually start to include more personal posts, like outfits.

I will still keep Wearfare up, for people who want to look at past posts (and also because I don't want to delete over a year of blog work!)

WOW! I just realized Wearfare turned a year old on May 6th... and it's now June 7th... 

But besides my forgetfulness, this blog has been bustling for a whole year! A milestone! Hooray!

Thank you, all of you, not just the fantastic, fabulous, fashionable followers, but any person who's ever happened to stumble upon this site, even if you hated it.

The two most fabulously dressed women in politics, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy and Michelle Obama, finally meet! Surprisingly, it wasn't as much a fashion face-off as a meeting of fashionable political minds, as they dressed similarly: in flats (both women are quite tall; granted, Michelle is wearing kitten-heels) and bow-tied coats with matching short-sleeve shift dresses underneath.Two of a kind - the beginning of a great relationship between France's Bruni-Sarkozy and Obama.
"Maybe we should have called each other this morning, to make sure we weren't going to be wearing the same thing..." - Bruni-Sarkozy (or was that the plan all along?!!?)

"I absolutely LOVE your dress! And those shoes? Stunning!" - Obama

A couple days ago I posted an "Under $100" post, but I realized that it just doesn't have the same appeal it used to - so I'm kicking it out, and instead, I'm going to add a different type of recurring post. So the last "Get it now..." post had us thinking about books. We love to read and recently people have told us how little they read. We want to try and inspire people to read more, and they don't have to be long, drawn out novels - they can be books about your interests, like fashion or even more specifically, a book about a certain designer you like, or a certain era you like. Reading is about broadening your mind and understanding more about what you love! So our new recurring post will be called "Reading Rainbow", as a homage to that old kids show (which might actually still be on air...). If anyone has suggestions for topics that they want books for, we will gladly accept them and post numerous suggestions for that topic.

A little bit about what this is all about: 

I'm sure that we know how many blogs there are about fashion and street wear (WhoWhatWearDaily, The Sartorialist, etc.) and while all those are great (I frequent them daily), there needs to be something that is even more attainable. For those of us with limited monetary resources, but a desire for luxury labels, I want to create a site that shows how to harmoniously merge the two in a way that is fashion forward and inspired by celebrities, models and up-to-date fashion trends - even before they develop, all with the aid of images and descriptions. You will be able to know where to buy and what to buy so that you can look and fell your best. So I hope that this blog inspires you to stay fashion forward, expand your knowledge of fashion, and wear what you want, all without fighting your budget.
