While American Apparel always has great sale prices on their famous basics (some items are being sold for more than 50% off the regular price), you can sometimes find a special piece that can add some "flavor" to an outfit. These are the "flavor" pieces we found: the swimsuit is a nice change of pace from the usual two-pieces, but still maintains a sensuality without being overtly sexy (which is usually the case at the beach!). The v-neck shirt hints at a quince dress (minus the taffeta) in a wearable, more everyday way. It's a good way to add some of the aforementioned "flavor" to a casual weekend outfit.
